Christina is a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist in Pain Management at The Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals in London. Her background is cardiothoracic nursing which led to an interest in pain management.

Christina has a particular interest in pain management after cardiothoracic surgery and the use of transitional pathways to prevent persistent pain after surgery and treatment. In her daily work Christina supports patients with cancer, their relatives and carers to manage and optimise their pain management. She has shared her experiences at both nationally and internationally.

Christina is the current Secretary of the Pain Nurse Network, a network of national and international pain nurse specialists, providing education, sharing knowledge and experience to enhance pain management for patients.
